DEYOUNG CORPORATION was started in Cleveland, Ohio in 1984 to develop and
manufacture braiding machinery for the pressure hose industry.
Development projects have resulted in new products while others have brought improvements to the braiding process.
The SDC Modular Carrier System is the most widely accepted product to come from these development efforts. The modular design of this carrier system is ideal for off-line preparation and maintenance, and the modular carrier adapts quickly and easily to a wide variety of braiding applications.
In 1991 SDC and OMA SRL, OF MILAN, ITALY, joined in a venture to combine the SDC Modular Carrier with the OMA TYPE 240 Series Braiding Machine. This combination has been well accepted as a much needed and reliable braiding system for the pressure hose market.
